Catching a breath of fresh air
We advise you :
The region boasts a network of multiple hiking paths. And a number of official walks are organised by the department’s hiking committee (E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org) which updates its’ calendar each year. We recommend GR35 which follows the Loir valley and GR335 which ties Lavardin to Vouvray.
The village of Les Hayes has an FFE recognised horse riding club where you tan take lessons or horseback excursions. Contact Patricia Champagne au (33) 2 54 85 29 40
The Loir is a river in which fresh water fishing is considered an art form. There are a number of sites available to both beginners and experts and the local equipment shops in Montoire can provide detailed information on the regulations and details of fishing in the region.
In our opinion the most interesting 18 hole course in the region is at Ardrees which is a par 70 (5785 m) and has numerous forested areas and water obstacles. Situated north of Tours in the village of St Antoine du Rocher it is about 25 minutes away and more information can be obtained on the web site blue green
There are many official mountain biking courses throughout the region.
Second hand market (Brocantes)
With the arrival of the spring, every week-end, one ou two "brocante" are organized in the region.
